If your lamps have the same power you should place a diffusion paper over the fill light. To do this, attach a diffusion paper to the 4 doors at the side of the lamp frame with wooden peg and at the sides of the doors not at the front.
3. The Backlight is the light placed at the back of the subject and it gives the subject a rim of light separating your subject from the background and highlighting contours. It is placed slightly to the camera’s right. For added effect you could use amber gel on the backlight this would create some nice highlights on the subjects hair.  For subjects with darker hair you could use stronger color.

You would take note of some tips on skin tone and hair color. For dark faced subject you would need a large soft light close to the camera this will spread on the face and will provide a nice even light on the surface of the face. You must avoid light colored clothing and bright backgrounds.  For light skinned tone, avoid very dark clothing and backgrounds.

For Safety purposes, the lights get hot quickly when turned on so you would need gloves to handle them. Cables and wires should be taped down to avoid tripping hazard. Equipment cases should be stored out of the way so you can work freely and avoid stumbling over them.
