Our History In Wedding and Event Videography
Award winning Janis Productions has spent more than twenty five years perfecting the art of wedding videography in Philadelphia and surrounding regions. We have produced over two thousand special occasion videos, and in the process have pioneered techniques others still struggle to imitate.
John Bell, the owner and life long film/video producer, has been in the film and video business for just about 40 years. First with NFL Films as a tech and producer from the early ’70s to the mid-eighties and then with the formation of Janis Productions in 1983. Starting initially as a side project, Janis soon grew into the catalyst and innovator for the emerging wedding videography and video production markets.
Mr. Bell was also an accomplished professional photographer during the 1970s where we got his amazing eye for lighting and capturing the energy and emotion of any given portrait or scene.
As Janis Productions became prolific in the early ’80s, Mr. Bell decided to leave NFL Films in pursuit of his own dream……owning a video production company while producing his works of art along the way.
